Try-on metrics explained

This page defines each number in the dashboard, in the order it appears on screen. Metric names are shown in Portuguese, as in the dashboard, with an English translation.

The numbers use three different units. That’s why the same week can show different values on different cards. It isn’t an error.

Unit What it counts Example
Eventos (Events) Every time something happens. If one person tries on three times, that’s 3 try-ons.
Pessoas (People) Each person once. The same person trying on three times counts as 1.
Visitas (Visits) Each visit to the store. Rates and the funnel count visits.

All numbers in Resultados (Results) use the same period, in calendar days in Brasília time.

Metric Definition
Pessoas que provaram (People who tried on) How many different people did at least one virtual try-on in the period. Each person counts once, even if they try on several times.
Provas virtuais (Virtual try-ons) How many virtual try-ons were done in the period. If one person tries on three times, that’s 3.
Adições ao carrinho (Add-to-carts) How many times customers added a product to the cart through the try-on in the period. It also counts when the customer uses the try-on, or gets a recommendation from Descubra seu tamanho (Find your size), and then clicks your store’s own buy button on the same product’s page.
Aberturas do provador (Try-on opens) How many times customers opened the try-on on product pages.
Taxa prova → carrinho (Try-on → cart rate) Out of every 100 store visits where someone did a try-on, how many ended with a product in the cart.
Taxa de uso (Usage rate) Out of every 100 visits where someone opened the try-on, how many went on to do a try-on.
Receita de quem provou (Revenue from people who tried on) How much customers who used the try-on spent, according to your store’s Google Analytics.

Try-ons, add-to-carts and opens show the change against the previous period of the same length. With 90 days, there is no comparison. When the base is small (fewer than 10 events), the screen shows Poucos dados ainda (Not enough data yet) instead of the change.

Frequently asked questions

Why is Pessoas que provaram lower than Provas virtuais?

Provas virtuais (Virtual try-ons) counts every try-on. Pessoas que provaram (People who tried on) counts each person once, even if they try on several times.

Does an add-to-cart from my store's own button count?

It counts when the customer used the try-on or got a recommendation from Descubra seu tamanho (Find your size) and then clicked your store's own buy button on the same product's page.

Why don't the rates match try-ons divided by add-to-carts?

The rates in the overview count store visits, not try-ons. One visit can have several try-ons and several add-to-carts.
