Fashion virtual try-on
In the fashion try-on, the customer uploads a photo of themselves and gets back an image of them wearing the garment from the page. From the result, they choose a size and add it to your store’s cart.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- The product must be active in the catalog as fashion, with the same link as the store page.
- The product photo must show the garment clearly. See Product photo requirements.
- The Provei code must be installed in your store. See Installation.
What the customer sees
Section titled “What the customer sees”-
Photo upload. The window shows Envie sua Foto (Upload your photo) and the tips Use uma foto só sua, sem ninguém ao redor (Use a photo of just you, with no one around) and Escolha uma foto com boa iluminação (Choose a well-lit photo). On a phone, the customer chooses Tirar Foto (Take photo), which uses the front camera, or Escolher da Galeria (Choose from gallery).

Generation. As soon as the photo is chosen, the image starts generating. The customer follows the progress on a waiting screen.

Result. The customer sees themselves wearing the garment, with buttons to try again, download, share and view full screen.

Size and cart. Below the image, Escolha seu tamanho: (Choose your size) appears with the sizes the store page offers. The customer picks one and taps Adicionar ao Carrinho (Add to cart). Without a size, they see Selecione um tamanho para adicionar ao carrinho (Select a size to add to cart).
A downloaded or shared image keeps the format it was generated in. Sharing sends the image with the text Veja como ficou: (See how it looks), the product name and the page link.
Photo messages
Section titled “Photo messages”If the photo can’t be used, the customer sees one of these messages and can choose another:

Size and fit
Section titled “Size and fit”The fashion try-on shows how the garment looks, not how each size fits. To show the recommended size along with the image, use the Advanced try-on. To recommend a size outside the try-on, see Descubra seu tamanho (Find your size).
Try-on video (Beta)
Section titled “Try-on video (Beta)”On products prepared by Provei, the result may show the Ver frente e costas em movimento (See front and back in motion) option, which generates a short video of the garment turning from front to back. The customer can watch and download the video as an MP4.
Frequently asked questions
Which photo formats can customers upload?
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 10 MB. iPhone HEIC photos are converted on the device before upload.
Does the size chosen on the product page come preselected in the try-on?
No. In fashion, the customer chooses the size in the try-on result. Only when the product has a single size does it come preselected.
