Step-by-step installation

Follow the path below to install the script in your WAKE store: Product template, before </body>.

WAKE Storefront (product template)

Storefront > Repository (Git) > Pages/product.html

Register your store domains in Provei.AI

Add the production origin and, when applicable, the non-www, preview, staging, or regional domains that will load the widget.

Register or import products

Associate each product with the exact public URL of its corresponding WAKE page. Also configure size charts and data when using size widgets.

Copy the snippet generated in the Provei.AI dashboard

In Widget Settings, choose the correct product and copy the complete Basic snippet. Use the URL generated by the dashboard instead of building the endpoint manually.

Find the WAKE product template

In the Storefront repository, check Configs/pages.json for the file mapped to the product type and open the corresponding template in Pages/.

Add the snippet at the end of the template

Paste the snippet near the end of the product template, preferably before </body> when that tag is in the file.

Publish to preview first

Commit to the preview branch or theme, validate the journey on desktop and mobile, and only then publish through the store’s normal workflow.

Important notes

Provei.AI does not have a native WAKE/FBits connector for automatic catalog synchronization.
Always use the exact snippet from the dashboard: Fashion, Furniture, and Sizing may use different endpoints.
If the store navigates between products without a page reload, validate widget updates during route changes.
Check CSP, CORS, and network responses for Provei.AI domains before publishing.

WAKE Storefront virtual try-on through JavaScript

WAKE Storefront lets you edit HTML and JavaScript templates and integrate third-party services. That is why basic Provei.AI on WAKE installation uses the same asynchronous snippet available for other platforms: copy the code generated in the dashboard and add it to the product template.

This compatibility covers widget loading and execution. It is not a native catalog connector: today, products, public URLs, and size data must be registered or imported separately in Provei.AI.

Preparing the integration

Before changing the theme, register your store’s production origin in Provei.AI and any additional domain that will actually load the widget. This includes, when used, the non-www domain, preview or staging addresses, and regional domains.

Then associate each product with the exact public URL of its WAKE page. The widget reads the browser’s current URL to find the matching registration. For size charts, recommendations, or size comparisons, also configure the applicable measurements in the Provei.AI dashboard.

Installing in the product template

In the WAKE Storefront repository, open Configs/pages.json and find the mapping whose type is product. That record points to the page file used by the store, normally a template inside Pages/.

Paste the Provei.AI snippet near the end of that template, preferably before </body> when the tag is in the file. Installing it only on product pages avoids unnecessarily loading the widget on search, category, account, and checkout pages.

Use the complete code copied from Widget Settings. Fashion, Furniture, and Sizing may use different endpoints, so do not build the script URL manually.

Pre-production validation

Publish first to a branch or preview theme and confirm that:

the Provei.AI button appears on the correct product;
the experience opens and completes its main flow;
desktop and mobile layouts remain usable;
there are no CSP, CORS, or console script blocks;
requests to Provei.AI return successfully;
moving between product pages continues to select the correct item.

If the store uses client-side navigation, test changing products without a page reload. There is currently no dedicated WAKE lifecycle adapter, so this scenario must be confirmed in the real theme.

Catalog synchronization

The snippet does not import the catalog automatically. Start with manual registration or a compatible feed. A custom connector using the WAKE API makes sense when the catalog is large or changes frequently and needs to synchronize IDs, URLs, images, categories, and status.

Not yet. The widget works through a script, but the catalog is not automatically synchronized by a native WAKE/FBits connector.
